Default Opinions on the Donzi 33 ZX?

Looking for opinions on the Donzi 33 ZX's?? There seem to be some out there loaded up with the options that I'm looking for.

How do they ride in the rough? How fast with 502's? Is the cabin comfortable for overnighting? The v-birth looks kind of short, but it's tough to tell in pictures.

i like to jump in the new boats at the factory and pretend i'm driving... like i was 3 again!!...if a 38 is not right next to it i have to ask....the thing is massive!

as for the v-birth?? never laid on it...but donzi thinks of everything so....

go look at one in person!...that will answer your questions...

Thanks for the info! It does look big and beamy in pictures on the trailer.

There isn't one near me (for sale anyway) that I can go check out. Hoping to find someone near by that would let me look at theirs.

I'm really curious as to how the ride would compare to the 35 Sonic that I just sold. My Sonic weighed in at 8400lbs, but these 33 Donzi's are 9200lbs.

My uncle has a 2000 38 Daytona , a very nice boat, excellent emmenities and built very well. I think in the last 3 years Donzi has improved vastly, their customer service has improved 100%, and their products are excellent. I almost bought one, but customizing their boats to my demanding needs was unacceptable at the time, for a semi custom they would be my first choice. For ride compared to my 42 Sonic, 2 different animals, I prefer the Donzi, just my .02. Good luck finding a loaded 33, I know of a loaded totally customized 2002 38, I saw it listed at a dealer web site, if you want me to find it I will, thanks Jeff

JASSMAN...they are now doing a lot of trick stuff! every time i talk with steve simon he has a new bad ass project going on of some sort...sometimes doing one off stuff gets you in trouble...they don't use the customer to test what they should have.

talk to ya soon!
