How about greasy suntan lotion all over the upholstery!!
Thats a PAIN to clean off the seats and messes up the glass as well.
Shoes aint so bad as long as feet stay on the deck, not on the seats, but they better check for tar on their shoes before they do board!

I just simply have the "S" rules, that I explain to non boaters or first time riders on the boat.

The "S" rules are as follows...
- Shoes: none
- Smoking: none
- Sharp objects: none- like keys either in the pockets or hanging off them that WILL damage the interior.
- Standing on the seats, not allowed
- Stay seated while underway
- Suntan oil or lotion: None without proper protection on the seating areas.
- Standing or walking across any hatches: not allowed
- Slippery foot wear, like socks, not allowed on the front deck or any smooth surface....you know what will happen.

They get given out, every time out, to ensure the message gets across. Everyone has followed the rules, or as they are told, they will NEVER ride again if they break any of them. Too much time & $$$ to fix their mis-understanding or un-thinking of the damage that will occur if they violate these simple rules.

The open beverages underway, and the eating of messy stuff is also a no, no.....

I love it when people bit*h about all the rules on board.
And then they tell me what great shape the boat is in

Lighting up to smoke is the worst.......or pulling out a five dollar bill at the gas dock like it's going to help !!!!!

Anyone that shows up late. For years I'd give everyone a break and wait for them. They show-up thirty minutes, an hour late like it's no big thing !

Now it's lines off and we're out of here with them or without at the appointed hour.

bottle caps, and they dont throw them out, and dad finds them, or they say "hand me another beer" while i am on phone with dad.

Crums everywhere

leaving your magazines on here, and they get wet then *****ing to me that they got wet on a boat.

spraying tanning oil all over the gel, and only getting a small amount on you.

friends who bring psycho girl friends who are afraid of water.

and hot chicks who dont like how the boat bounces, and how I seem more interested in "talking with her" than driving (substitute talking for looking) in rough water.

Sitting at a poker run being rafted up next to, the the guy and his friends all trample your boat, jumping from their bow onto ours, as for the others it cleans up, but I will let some slide if I'm in the right mood. If not all hell breaks out and you look like an ass standing at the dock with no way home!
