Racegirl3~

I've gotta agree with you on that...talk about burning some calories!

I've also started "stress boxing" . When I get stressed (which I have been A LOT lately), I go into our workout room and knock the hell out of our punching bag! After 15 or 20 minutes of that I am exhausted and it works every time!!! I'm also jump rope. One of my fitness mags states if your knees can handle it, it's a great way to work your mid-section.

dancing

Yep i will agree with you there, I used to dance ballroom and swing 5-6 nights a week and i was down to 220(fighting weight for me 6'1" and used to work out regularly) . I loved it. Yes i sound like a *** but i am not. Dancing is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. Now, 14 months after a bad car wreck i am struggling to get back into the gym and on the dance floor. Too many 12 oz curls...... Do you ever take part in any of the OHIO NORTH JITTERBUG CONN 330-425-9737 events?

Dam Dave... I can't imagine you at 245. You don't even look 200.

I was about 245 last summer, but I have been very good with my veggies/bike/weights. And drinking less. Plus... switched to water and diet pop. (To those of you in the south... I mean "coke.") This summer I should be about 215.

That's about as light as I want to go at 6'6"

I'm 6'6" also and feel good at 217-225. Every long winter here, especially since I stopped riding sled, I am 235 by Feb. March and feel like a pig. Like alot of taller men, when I put on 10-15, it's right in the gut and really stands out on my otherwise lean frame. I think I'm going to get into riding a bicycle when the weather breaks. I don't mean hardcore...just go out and ride around on a bike for an hour or so several times a week. It's a start, and I live in a really nice village, so I can work my self up to longer rides out of the village later.

Working night shift is also murder on diet, metabolism, and energy level. Makes it tough to stay lean when you're 40!

I've been hittin the gym 4-5 times a week for 3yrs. no,m but lately I've been so busy i haven't had time. It sucks getting back into it after quitting for a couple weeks.I figure if I start again in april that'll give me plenty if time go get back where I need to be.
@6'4" 200lbs. I worry more about losing too much weight than anything.
