Gain!!! Weight distribution is moved forward and center. I believe because of placement, lower center of gravity as well. Working on the motors I imagine would be easier as well... Wish I had staggered.

In addition you can bring the props closer together.
Which translates to more Speed.

Can create difficulty using certain drives if you have a notched transom. I have staggered with a notched transom, could not switch to arneson drives without filling in the notch.
