800 SC's...?
#1
Just wandering how many people are still running the 800 SC's? I am just finishing up on a pair for a 38' Cigarette now. Don't know of a whole lot of these out there.

I had Walt at Charlies Machine do all the machining and the rotating assemblies and I did the rest. I just didnt have the time to do the assemblies with boat shows and other engine stuff going on. That helped me out with the time line thing!
We did the rest of the assembling at the shop and all the painting and dressing. I hope to run them on the floor next week and them put these puppys in. Warm weather is coming soon!

The cover I have on these are aluminum one piece covers. I like to have the stability of the cover when running a roller cam. I could have probably used the stamped steel one but like these better and they look better as well.
Cloyes makes one that I have used before. Runs around $120.00. If you need one like this you can get it from Summit Racing.
Cheers!
