Or are shims required for alignment ?
Thanks.
The mounts came with the boat? If so, and it had SBC's before, the mounts should already be lined up.

Yes, the mounts came with the boat. The factory installed SBC's (used to be 350 Magnum MPI's) from Formula were in the boat the first time I saw it. When I decided to buy it the engines had been removed to prepare the upgrade to Scorpion engines. So I assume that the mounts are factory aligned to SBC's. Just wondering whether there could be small differences between engines such that alignment is required ?
