Panic Button, I sent you an Email re 1989 drive. Is it true that an A11 coupler will not fit an 89 Bravo?

I had to change the flywheel housing (865657A04) to use the HD coupler. The original was way to small. I found it used online for about $100. I don't remember the company except they were in NJ. Make sure it has the cut out on the bottom, the PN above does.

Ebay

[QUOTE=TC]Alignment is a real killer for couplers! We have thrown some pretty high HP numbers on stock couplers with good long term results. I have also seen a 25 Outlaw with 100hrs sheer the splines surely due to bad alignment. I would definitely spring for the coupler Smitty mentioned with extended splines next time.

TC - Do you work for Kellogg's? I see Tony the Tiger in your avatar.
