Merc. Racing Blue Paint
#21
I found DuPont Jollipop Blue Metallic powder coat to be a close match to Mecury racing blue. However, without a white or light silver base coat the color can be inconsistent and get to dark. I don't have an account set up to post a picture but this youtube link shows a color sample:

A close look shows that the intake manifold got to dark. It was the first piece that was done and didn't have a base coat. I'll have it stripped and redone someday.

Thanks. Here's a thread on my motor build.

Post #12 has my thoughts on the Holley system. In a nutshell I really like the system but I found the system training documentation to be severely lacking. I have a good running motor but I probably have a strong grasp on only 25% of the systems capabilities.
