I am a dealer for Barry Grant and holley. I would stay with a 650 cfm carb. Please feel free to give me a call and I will be happy to help you with selection and discount pricing. (216) 398-8500.

I've had good luck with the edelbrock marine carbs (made by weber). They run well out of the box.

If you want a holley style, go with a marine speed demon http://www.barrygrant.com/demon/default.aspx?page=21
model 1282010EM

Notice how the vents are turned down? That way if it floods, the fuel goes back into the carb instead of into the bilge. Marine carbs also don't have all the vacuum fittings for car stuff, have better floats, better corrosion resistant coatings, and have better seats/springs so they don't flood out (like an offroad carb)

I HATE Q-jets. I've had nothing but terrible experience with several of them. I even invested $500 having "the carb shop" build one for a musclecar, and it ran worse than a stock $220 edelbrock 600.

Not having a marine carb will violate USCG rules and your insurance will not pay in the event of engine fire.

I got mine through Summit Racing. They should fit on that intake without any adapters. You will have to check how the carbs are presently plumbed and get the correct fuel line and or fittings. Good luck!

ok, ordered my carbs
and yes they are marine. Got 2 edelbrocks 750 cfm. My mechanic said we would jet them down, but would be a good idea to have the larger cfm if I later beef up these bad boys.
Thank you guys for all the input and from keeping me from blowing up LOL

I know this is a really old thread but how did you end up liking the edelbrocks? I'm looking to purchase some new carbs for my twin 350 setup and wanted to know what your experience was.
