5200 takes way to long to set, won't ever come off but takes weeks to totally set

Formula uses screws with platic shim deals to hold the mirror on. I can try and take a picture this weekend if you want.

I used 3m emblem adhesive 2 sided tape on my 1997 31 sonic, 12 years, mirror is still there. Lots of rough water on Lake Ontario. But hatch is flat on the back side, I don't know about a curved surface.

Jon please,is it just a spacer? does it have a backing on it?

I talked to some places that sold starboard and they said that glue doesn't stick to starboard very good,

I plan on using the backing to glue the mirror to ,then bolt the mirror and backing to the bottom of the hatch, the hatch you cant screw to it, its foam in-cased ,screw just pulls out. the factory used the Philip's machine screw and a stainless t nut on the top side, the hatch cover is attached the same way,the mirror will over hang the hatch screws they would dig into the back of the mirror.

I would think the mirror would be wavy looking with out the backing.ie using 2 sided tape? would be alot easier

the mirror on each side is 32x68

ya can see the bolt holes in the hatch pick
