When i disconnect wires from this engine cant start the other one. I never had twin engine experience. Maybe this one was primary so that's why cut out electricity. Batteries are good. Just interior lights are working. Any ideas?

i disagree with you,r color statement,if you drop a brand new iron core camshaft on the concrete floor and brake it this is what it will look like.

🤔🤔maybe. But he did state that the lifters were loose and I don't think the dist. could do that . What do yo think happened.? He hasnt mentioned whether it turns over by hand or if the piston are all moving. Like I said earlier, broken rod?? No much anything else could have done that. W don't have full pic yet . But he needs some help. New long block , bolt on old accessories and drop it in. Not gping to be simple fix.👍

You don't know what's wrong or what damage has been done. Pull it out . I bet cam hole at back is broke out. Anyway it might be easier and only cost a 300 more to by long block. You were talki nh about rebuilding just by a long block

Thats why i hate to replace block.. New engines require electrical fuel pumps and also different type manifolds or cooling systems..
