would about those metal car ramps you drive up on put one on one side and see what you have for clearance

I credit my dad with a lot.. He grew up on a farm. taught me at a very young age that if something breaks, you fix it, if you dont know how you take it apart and figure it out. If at that point you still cant fix it, its just phucked and needs to be replaced. He taught me auto repair by having me fix the car way before I was old enough to think about having a drivers license, he taught me woodwork, fiberglass and epoxy by employing me as slave labor helping him build a 41 foot trimaran from scratch. He taught me home repair by having me climb a rickety azz wobbely scaffold to paint the house..god Im still afraid of hieghts over that one. He taught me to sail by getting me a 16' hobie cat when I was 13, chasing me out of the house, telling me to hit the lake and not come back untill the sun went down. He taught me to waterski by standing on his feet and holding the rope with him before I was big enough to try on my own. Basically he taught me to swim in life by teaching me to just jump in the deep end and go for it.

Definitely get it on video so we can see whose idea worked best

the ramp thing won;t work. Think about your fulcrum point. Yes you are tilting the boat, but only to one side, You need to bring the top of the boat to one side and the bottom to the other.

Dads Nuggets, I hope to see pictures of you successfully inserting the boat into the garage. In fact I demand pictures success or fail !!

I'm thinking if you tilt the boat on the trailer then ramp it you may have a chance, phragle if 1 side goes up I'm almost positive the other will go down or you have bigger problems:eekdrop:

Build walls, put boat in it, fill with water.

Easy to tilt and manueaver.

Drain water.

Ha,ha,ha,ha.

I'm sure they would have done something like that 100's or 1000's of years ago.

And that changes the fulcrum point

Why not just back it in the water and put it on the trailer off center. Have seen this happen at the ramp plenty of times unintentionally lol.
