The big advantage of not having a choke tower is when you have a shorter height flame arrestor / air cleaner.

In other words, those that have a short FA/air filter height and a choke tower are the one's really being hampered.

Remember, the choke tower is inside the FA/air cleaner housing.

Mill the choke towers off of 4150's. We get by just fine here in the Midwest with no choke.

He doesn't want to lose his picnic table of a hatch, and I don't blame him. Gotta be a way of fitting it under there Tim!

Yo billy!
When you guys dynoed your engines with the CFM carbs, how did they work with the base settings?
I thought you guys put a mid dyno call into Dale for some fine tuning instructions.

I had a couple people tell
Me you need 3.5-4" talkjg for proper airflow into the carb so the raised height of a dominator would cut that in half

Here's the 4150 Dale built for me tim. It, most likely a complete piece of trash.
The first thing he said was, " nothing I can't fix with a 1/4" drill bit and a battery drill"! That's when i knew I was at the right shop!

The last dealing I had with my carb builder was I was trying to tell him what it was doing and he was trying to tell me my cam was too big! I told him I was not going to tune the cam to the carb. You can guess how that went.

Check out these generic one size fits all junks ....best thing you can do with these is bring them to a real carb guy and have them drill some holes in random places for a large fee ...then they'll run great.
