If this is the case, is this not an issue with machining ?? and will have the same result no matter what cam goes in.

I'm sure Tim will speak to it, but I thought Cam Motion agreed to take care of him before they even saw the cams as a customer service. I think Johnson did the same at some point?

I understood they weren't yours, I thought you were concerned it was going to happen to yours. How about your seats, were they ok?

As far as cams go, of course I'm in the spot, I do know that everyone said with more duration there would be no issues, so as far as I am concerned new cams will have around 10 more degrees duration with same lift, therefor I can care less what happened with old cams as we all know what we think it was, I do not agree my cams were ok given what I looked at, but if I get new cams covered then I'm good.

Heres a completely random guy on speedtalk, who saw pictures of tims cam. Yet another guy, who switched cam brands, and never had the issue again .

Jim v set up heads in fact caught a defect from dart and took care of it and they sent replacement. . That's why I buy bare castings and drop off to head guy. I realize not everyone has that luxury nearby but was still a few couple hour trips when said and done. When It comes to heads that guy is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Beyond normal maint I leave heads to the experts.
