I don't know if it was already mentioned but check your toe in or out on the drives while it on the trailer.

Toe-in is neutral and the modified Mirage props are spinning out.

Nose cones? Not that I don't think that would do anything about chine but could change a lot in driving characteristics

Naw just a 27 that chine walked a bit and my 38 that only chine walks when somethings wrong . I'm only trying to give all i know . Did all the 29's chine walk ?

I really think the question that should be asked is what can be done to eliminate chine walk, not drive thru it,

Sure, your always going to get an occasional wobble, but if a boat or a series of chine walks most of the time, there is a hydrodynamic instability.

If your truck got severe speed wobbles at 60 mph all the time, would your answer be to let your family pucker while you death grip the wheel and try and drive thru it or would it be at the shop to figure out whats wrong?

I thought most fountains spun the props in?

One thing about proper set up is NO ill handling. My daytona would porpoise at mid range speeds. It no longer does at ANY speed.
