My goodness. Foxwell actually offered some tech advice. Scott, you been preaching about the shrouded wheel lifter concept , and how fork lifters spread. Have you ran either the morels or johnsons in any bbcs turning 6,000, 6500, 7000rpm with 500 plus lbs of open pressure ? If so, what were the results ? Did the forks spread? Any signs of wheel tracking ? Valve float? How many seasons or hours ? |
We have ran Fork style lifters over 10,000rpm 500lbs on the seat. I forget the open. But never had valvetrain issues. 1.250" lift

The only reason I see the necessity to make the lifter with a shrouded wheel is so you can make the body out of a cheaper material.
