Just a quick update, haven't made any moves yet, just pulled the boat out of water and pit it in my garage. I was given a free 19 cobia with a wet bottom a couple weeks that has an orange 350 in it. I am moving in the next month and will have a nice 30x50 building at the place I am buying. Planning to pull the engine and take to mechanic to get it diagnosed and then use my buddies crane to rip the deck off of this old beast and do some glass work.

Also found a 32 black thunder with twin 454s/bravos I could acquire for about 3,000$. The hull is very wet, transom, stringers, bulkheads, and a bad cockpit floor. If someone wants that hull after I get the engines and drives I will either be giving it away for free or scrapping it. I am probably going to end up in way over my head on this project but I'm truly very excited to start it and will likely post another thread about the project. Lots of things to think about.

Over my head in projects. That's the mantra of a lot of us! I know it keeps me happy and out of bars.
