I have Friends that use it and swear by it, all in Super Charged Boats, I have not tried it yet but might this season in the Pro -Charged boat Max boost is 9 LBS
The 1471 boat uses Race fuel.
Hope that helps you a little,
I would like to see what others say as well, as I don't have any first hand experience with it.

I have ran it in the Cuda (I use the marine formula) and have had good luck out of it but I have not raced with it yet. Normal cruising and some hits on the street I could not tell much difference between the boostane/93 mix and VP C14 btw engine is a high compression stroker small block
Thanks Chris
Thanks Chris

Boostane is a true real deal octane booster that won the 2014 SEMA Award (do a google search)---it was actually invented by Dave Wesseldyk of WESCO Marine in Jenison, Michigan---a small town suburb area just southwest of Grand Rapids, Michigan. He invented Boostane with offshore boaters in mind to help with the poor quality of gas you might get at a marina or gas station---it works in other gas engines too, even snowmobiles. Kieth Eickert even endorses Boostane on his website if that means anything.
Dave was a World Class throttle-man in the offshore racing circuit since the 1990's designs and builds some very sophisticated marine hi-perf engines.

When I was playing with a tune on my RX-7 I was needing better than 93 octane for the map, so went and researched most of the octane boosters (but NOT Boostane) and was amused to find that, once you got past all the b.s., the 'real' increase in octane amounted to ONE TENTH of a point. Evidently Boostane is better than this, according to the reviews?
