I think he has great insite on the use of splitters
I saw one once that had a diesel and two drives in southern Cal.

Kirk, if you want to do an inexpensive (relatively) test, I have a fresh 450 hp Merlin Diesel, Bobtail, for $6000. That's about a third or a fourth of a new one.
