what would the ideal procharger be for a pair of 454s 330 hps with carbs? I know its not a good choice for the 330s due to weak lower but what model would be right? thanks

Sheesh, guys..

He can probably find a good pair of M1 intercooled procharger setups for less than 3 grand for both (including fuel pumps and regulators).

If he runs around 3 to 3.5 pounds of boost, he'll be sitting pretty.

No need to spend 5 grand MORE for some fabulous Whipples. Remember, these are just 330's. He's looking to conserve dollars, or he'd be asking what to put on his HP500's.

I have to go with mcollinstn on this one. The Whipples might be better, but here, the money isjust not worth it. I would spend the difference on pistons if I did anything else.

mcollinstn...you hit the nail on the head, im not pushing that one is better than the other, in fact that would be a mute point, but yes ive also seen them reasonable in the past and just could not make a move at the time, now i can and would like do so and run conserve just to get by for now, id rather have the good stuff for sure, but this what i can do for now, im not dead locked on procharger, just somthing that is small front mounted, thanks for all the comments keep them coming if you will, thanks nick
