I would like to prevent scratching the top of my flame arrestors when setting a tool on them. I am looking for an aluminum tool tray that sits on top of my dual flame arrestor. I have seen them used in many types of motor sports. I have a dual dominator setup. Arrestor measures 9 x 19.5.

Some of you guys must know where to get them.

check summit or jegs for them, I know they have a single carb set up,they might have a twin as well.

Tupperware may be an easy solution.

Summit and Jegs have one that requires you to remove your flame arrestor. If only I was a welder.........

Anyone else?

I think that Snap on makes one that is magnetic. I know that will not help ya on your alluminum but maybe there is some place else you can put it?

Respecting the equipment is one thing; but this is crazy!! Seal yourself in the Tupperware container after addressing it to your shrink and have someone send you there for help,. GEEZE! --- Jer

JP some of these flame arrestors cost aboiut 400 bucks. Then put on another 400+ in custom paint and you can see why these guys are trying to be carefull. Personally I would use a towle but hey I just have stock 330's

If your flame arrester is steel, Craftsman makes a magnetic padded mat that is made to stick to somthing like a motorcycle gas tank. Part #51159. Your tools stick to the other side. You could make somthing fairly easy with a tool tray, some foam padding, etc.

Thinking outside the box.......and cheap

Get an aluminum cake pan at Walmart, put some foam backing on the bottom, and drill holes where you need them to attach them to your current flame arrestor.
