496 coolant plug location?
Having trouble finding the drain plug for the coolant in my 496 HO's. There isn't a lot of extra room to get down and look around. Can anyone give a more exacting description of where they are on these engines?

It's a six point, 18mm plug and it also has about an 8mm allan head in the center of the six point head. They are painted while in the block so they kinda hide from you. About half of the plug is directly behind the dipstick tube right where the mandrel bend goes straight.
On the port side of block:
It's roughly in the same place.
You'll be better off with a universal 18mm six point socket.
