I just picked up 5gal of epoxy and slow hardner. marine grade ply and all the supplies. I got a sample from sea cast and did not like the fact that I could flex the pice. Well I am going with the tried and trued way. Havent see enough of sea cast to trust it... Will keep posted.

Kyle,

Do yourself a favor and check especially your engine stringers, but also your outside stringers. I just finished a complete refit on my 29 scarab engine compartment. Use cardboard to start your template for your transom, but make it out of foam insulation board like they use on new houses. You can get it at home depot. Over size it a little and then sand it to fit with 80 grit sand paper. Once you get a nice fit lay it on your board and trace it out. If I can answer any questions for you PM me and I'll offer any advice I can.

Well getting closer to the water. I have been trying to work on both the transom and engine at the same time. Here are some photos of my progress. I am cleaning and painting every part from the engine compartment, about 2 more weeks. Still have to paint the drive, rebuild the kamma ram for the steering, get a new ring gear for flywheel, and clean up the wiring. Kyle
