What to spray on engine for corrosion?

I'm getting slight corrosion (surface rust, galvanic dust) in the little nooks/crannies on my engine. Is there a spray I can use to coat the engine between uses that won't smell/smoke when reaching operating temp? CRC? WD-40?
Thanks in advance,

I've never been real comfortable spraying the above products on my pretty blue engine paint. I just hose them down with pure aerosol silicone spray every couple of weeks. It burns off and evaporates relativly quickly, but leaves no residue thus far.

I like Boeshield too ... although it's it the upper end.. pricewise.. of these types of sprays.
Bottom line ... almost anythings better than nothing in a salt environment .
