Plan on buying an extra drive or two. The amount of torque that motor will be capable of will do damage on the drive. Unless you like to just cruise around and not use your motor to its fullest. If that is the case why screw with it.

The main reason is i guess im just bored
but i rode in a 29 that ran over a 100 and at 100 the level out... at 86 u think it would be horrible at 100 but it smooths out. im happy with 90 but triple digits would be interesting. I would like to see if i could do it. FOUNTAINEER what power are you running, and what drive? Also what year?

It's not like me to say this but maybe you don't need a blower. I just heard about a 632 with the new Dart 18 degree heads making 900 HP normally aspirated. It was 10:1 compression though. Anybody else have experience with these heads on large displacement?

I'm running a 509 with a B&M 250 blower running 7 Lbs of boost, with a SuperChiller, MSD, Gil Offshore Exhaust. The boat is a 1997 29 Fountain.
My outdrive is a standard bravo one which was upgraded in 1998 by Teague. I've never had any drive problems. You just need to be gentle getting on plane and never slap the throttle.
