If OSS wasn't formed yet, then they were far enough along to register their website on December 2nd - 5 days after the first post of Wetpits. Wetpits may not have been opened specifically as a voice for OSS, but has it become just that? Being an ex-racer, I am not a member.
So is OSO a voice of APBA and SBI??? OMG, I found another hidden agenda. Lets shoot someone!!!

Give me a break.

no ronp we don't need a third body, there are issues out there that mikea brought up about rules and boats on order. is oss gonna be a sbi and check book racing or what. they gonna race where they want and dictate to the bodies what they want and then they'll race when they get what they want. oso is a voice for all, wetpits is a voice for oss started by a board member when he knew what was going on.
i did ask a direct question to him and i guess he doesn't want to answer it,he doesn't need you to talk for him. he's a big boy.
oss needs to step up and tell there agenda, mike a is out, bull owns it. that was one of there major gripes.

Ron,

Please re-read Gordo's post (#8). I have not been to Wetpits, but I very much respect Gordo's opinion.

I merely pointed out that the OSSPRA.com website was registered 5 days after Wetpits was formed, and well before any public OSSPRA announcement was made. Coincidence? Maybe, but still a reasonable issue to be introduced.

So I guess when they have thier act together, they'll let everyone know the deal. Untill they know the answers themselves, we'll just need to wait.

Do you think alienating them (oss) is the right way to go? I suggested that APBA and OSS should have the same rules so they can race together when they want to.

Mike was throwing a lot of crap at them. How is the new Skater supposed to be illegal? By what standards? No one ever questioned Mike, we just let him rant.

I know on OSO our patience is about a second long. Well we might just need to sit and wait for this one.

Good idea Ron. I actually hope that I am wrong in my suspicions. I'll be on the forum "sidelines" for awhile.

Happy New Year-

mark i agree with you for once,if there gonna be three bodies aleast they can run similar classes and have a true worlds. silence is deadly,if i have a problem with a customer i address it and we fix it. oss is sitting and reading this and a board member is answering with chidish remarks, instead of answering questions. if that represents oss thats a shame.
they need to put out a agenda or letter and we'll be patience after that. we all know it will take time.

Scott,

If you have a problem with a customer, do you air it out in the open office or do you close your door and discuss it in private??? Well???

This is all BS ..get off Peconic's back. There is NO hidden Adjenda...PERIOD.

The OSS guys are doing what they feel is right for their group. Right or Wrong, its their business. They dont have to explain themselves to anyone. They are not a public company, they are a group of professional and very seccessful buisnessmen trying to keep something they love and invested a great deal of time and money alive.

Why read into it more than that??? You continue to harass Bertel and the others for no other reason but to be a major pain in the ass. Im tired of it. Go buy a race boat and race wherever you want. Just stop *****in already ...Im sick of it. First it was Mike A. Then OSS then Bertel, Then Randy. Whos NEXT???

Dammit man, grow up!!!!!
