John, I think that my current props should be fine. I will spin the motors a bit tighter if need be. Testing in the spring should tell the tale. I hope to get to Las Vegas for that new performance boat expo in April. Bring your Jag up to Vegas, I'm sure that it has been a long time since two Jags were in one location in a long time. Doug

Doug-
That would be fun and I'd like to get together sometime, but April is not possible with wife's Tax season and my TMS NASCAR event.
Thanks!
John

To get this thread back on track.

Couple of engine compartment photos taken for a current "project".

The Daytona/Hot Boat article was about my first "true cat" (center pod was removed): owned it in the mid 80's.
The turbos/exhaust sounded great!

I have the 41 mold that Jaguar built based on a 41 Apache. It originally had a step insert installed but now is a straight bottom.

We pulled the port engine and sent it to Owens Racing for a "tune-up". After we determine the correct setup, the work will be duplicated on the SB engine.
I'll keep you posted.

John,

Who pulled motor? Don't know if you've heard, but in addition to the twin 1150/1350 Fountain I earlier told you about, there is now a 46 Cig w/ 1075 Mercs and a 51 Outerlimits w/ twin 1200 Sterlings in our area. We must live in the oil industry area ($112 / barrel)!

Tommy-
Endeavour pulled the engine and I delivered it to Owens last Friday. They already have the heads and blowers, but now they need to get to work.

Nice to hear about the machinery coming here....

John
