We haven't done much boating this year!

We should have the Jag in the water this weekend. Replaced seals and bearing in a carrier assembly.

Well: best made plans...
The bearing ordered from Mercury doesn't match existing and the shop had to order a bearing from Timken.
Hopefully, it'll be ready this weekend.

I'm at the LOTO shootout, what a good time. I'll try to post pics tomorrow. John, get that Jag on the water.

While stabbing the drive Friday, the outer seal in the carrier got damaged. They didn't have any extra seals in stock; thus, overnighted the seal which arrived late Saturday.
Ran out of time this weekend.

Hoping the boat's ready, but of course we have thunder storms forecast for the weekend. Oh well, we need the rain!

It's about time for the winter layup: boat must be in storage by Nov 1.

My lay-up also starts Nov.1. I'll try to make a few runs before then. I've had a good year to date and I'll be taking the motors out for a freshing over the winter. Should be a simple ring and bearing and have the heads checked, I hope! Doug
