Danny that is true you never know with John, I look at it as if he finishes the cabin then he will keep it, since he hasn't had a boat with the cabin finished. The Kryptonite is a sweet ride and you know if John gets his hands on a boat it will only be better, lol

Alright I'm working on the cabin. I came up with this idea for the "corners" in the cabin area. You guys know how the area (to the left and right) kind of rounds off when you first enter the cabin. It leaves a small area at the bulkead that I thought would make a good fender/dockline storage area. I hate having to get my passengers up off the backseat to get the fenders and docklines out...they always get in the way. This way I figure me, my wife, or whoever can just walk in the cabin and grab whats needed. Here is a mock up of the fender holders I scored on ebay. The guy said they were a one off piece he had built but the customer backed out on using them. Anyway they are billet and very nice. I gotta come up with an idea to hold the docklines next. Probably just a couple hooks or something next to the holders so they can hang and dry.

Really nice holders. Great idea. I hate moving people off the back seat . So I put my fenders in the cabin also,

Those are pretty sweet John.

I think that will be a good spot for them, i was planning on mounting a set of fender holders on the inside of the engine compartment, but now that I think about it, it really is a pain in the ass to get people to move out of the way.

Dam John you always come up with some killer ideas. I don't have to worry about that since under my back seats are open but that is a sweet idea...

I do like the molded steps for the cabin door. I know Superboat and Joker both do it. Might have to look into it.
that boat kicked azz in f1 in the cape cod race in 02, I blew my bolster a part and was forced out of the race by my navigator he said he was tired of me bouncing around like a super ball with a piece of metal sticking out of the gunnel kind of behind me. I said no problem I got a lifeline on, put then Iwas landing on him to. we did make it to 2nd place before I pulled out. I think the bat boats pulled out cause we never say them after the start even when we pulled out we were in the middle of the coarse. where others pulled out. was it your boat or fastto funs new boat that raced in 02?
