how do you think the 29 would run in ocean 4 footers compared to my old 28 pantra, of course not with the kid in the boat
Thank's
mike
I made the same family choice and went with the 2750.
29 has a lot friendlier design than a 28 evo - 29 has a more length and lot more room up front and a lot friendlier with a bench seat in back.

2750 is lighter than pantera 28, and the 28EVO is lighter yet.

Laveys racing record with this bottom was outstanding winning every single APBA race in its class in 06 and walking away from everyone in 8 footers in Puerto Rico.
I believe only the joker 28 has a better racing record than the 2750/ 28 evo.

So net net- Ill put a Lavey 2750 or 28 up against a Pantera 28. I respect Pantera boats and think there is a neat legacy in them.
Lavey has been around since 52 and has a neat history as well.

Schweeg,

They've punched out an awesome party prowler with a 600 and a custom interior. The German 28 Evo is a 2 boat deal there wll be another coming right after it!

Pretty sure all the evos are now in germany - including that one with a ridiculous 1100 ponies.

I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff a month ago as a new-comer to Lavey. Stopped into the factory and saw this one (and its twin) under construction just ahead of the engine/outdrive installation. Interesting that there seems to be a following over seas for Laveys. Either way, I can understand why with the build qualityand performance. That particular boat was absolutely stunning! Also a bonus because they had another 2750 in the mold so I was able to see up close and personal how they are built. Jeff was unbelievably accomodating and spent no less than a couple hours providing me a wealth of information on my 'new to me' 2750. Got to see all the other stuff going on in the shop which is great to see too. Now if the ice would start to melt out here in the Notheast. I'm dieing to go boating!
