Thanks for the info guys. Smarty they are asking $10,000. They sead they would let it go for $9,000. I think lower maybe. I was liking the idea that maybe I can run it a little this summer and really get into it in the winter. At this point I really only have around $10,000 for a running project. I know it will be hard to find. I'm willing to travel. Any out there???
Ok-OK Magnum or bust!!! LOL

Look in the Salty Dog and Boat Trader (online), that's is how my father sold his Magnum (he had it advertised on OSO and in Powerboat Magazine - lots of tire kickers), and it went pretty quick.

The drive is not the main issue with the boat, the transon is rotted-away, and the boat needs work.

I will keep an eye out for a 27' Magnum if I see/hear of any for sale. This site (OSO) - the people on this site - is/are very good when it comes to finding a Magnum.

This looks good, and it is priced right. http://www.offshoreonlyclassifieds.c...o16875-en.html
Just went on OSO classifieds tonight. I am not familiar with the boat, but it looks clean, SBC, Bravos, newer interior. Don't piss your moneyaway on a project boat that won't be worth **** when your done, this one is done. (less the steering system, and rollers for the trailer for low tide loading at some of marinas nearby)

Russ, I looked at the most recent Boat Shopper (issue 36). On page 74, there is a 28' Cigarette SS, with hydraulic steering and twin SBC, ad says "mint condition." In my opinion if you cannot find a 27' Sport, a 28' Cigarette SS is the next best thing.
The ad lists the boat for $32,000 (has picture)
I will keep looking for you; I realize $32K is long way from the $8K-$10K range that the Aero was in, but I thought it might interest you.
