Worked on the mag today & pulled the engines. With the weather getting colder & daylight shorter theres no time to waste.

-----They were pulling around the trailer Friday as I was leaving. I expect to see shafts, props, and rudders all
back on pretty quick. I need John Davis to do his thing with the rails and then the Pills can get dropped back in.......Bill S

Many who thought this ebay Mag was beyond saving, this test put that Idea to rest. Now the fun begins to restoring this classic Mag.

A bit late catching up here . . . congrats on the great initial run. And most of all very pleased to read about the drive height and getting on plane.

Can I ask you to email me directly the picture of your transom as my boat is now entering reassembly . . and I'll be installing two Volvo 280 drives, using the original Volvo trim . . adding Imco steering . . and K-Planes . .

With the engines and drives raised 3" , how did Roger maintain the flat engine hatch?

Mario Pic's sent. I'm running 23 pitch mirage merc props as these Volvo drives have merc prop shafts. This Mag gets on plane so good I may not reinstall the power trim as these props worked very well on the 2nd pin. After talking to Jeff he thinks they work much better than his Solex props.

Mario they didn't he cut holes in the hatch. I may ad these small scoops, or raise the hatch a little....

The 29' was a great boat but the 33' was even better. We use to race against the 33' Mirage ARMED & DANGEROUS, the boat rocked.
