Lake St Clair Magnum's
#1131
It has been almost 2 years to the date from when I bought my Mag down in Florida. Today my Mag made it to the water on Lake St Clair for a quick test ride. With my KIS [keep it simple] idea on the restoration the Mag ran great. My 3" raised Volvo drives with 23p Mirage props ran very well with out the power trim, & the drives fixed in the second pin. As I ran it today with out the interior in place I was able to see the power train running. All went well , no leaks & they sounded great. Now on to installing the retro candy striped interior.

Mark,
Your mag looks wonderful! ...love how it all came together in 2 years! ....I should learn and adopt your slogan to "Keep It Simple"
but in my case, just add "Stupid" to the end................The 'Screw Driver" is Bosss!

Thanks everyone for the complements. Today I started working on the fold down back seat, than on to the carpet. Pete, there is light at the end of this tunnel we call Magnum restoration.

The Screw Driver is looking super,, and so glad that it ran great too,, bet it was a blast having it back in the water for the first time since you got her.
I am getting caught up on my reading after being in Juarez Mexico all week for business
hot as an oven there, was over 100 every day
Pete ,, don't worry your Sport will be back together before you know it.
Great seeing the old Magnums coming back to life
