I am anxious to see this boat complete and possibly in person by random chance someday! Great build man!

Boat looks great, perfect timing, end of season. Run a couple times and stare at it fror the rest of the winter.

Are those the props that came with the boat? Do the new engines make less power that what you removed or has it always been overpropped?

The previus owner had 850 HP , he ordered new props and changed the gear ratio when he built the 1100hp new engines.
I had it up to 117mph on lake michigan with that set up but that seemed to be it , that day the waves were 2-3 so I had air under the hull.
After that anytime I was in any kind of calmer water it wouldn`t go past 100mph, I thought it was an engine problem but with 1050hp in full trim Im making more than the last set and still can`t pull past 5000rpm.

So it seems it was over propped the whole time.
I have some 18 x 29`s Im going to try .. thats going to accelerate like hell but I don`t know what the large diameter will do.
