U.S. COAST GUARD SURFMAN CREED

I will to the best of my ability, pursue each

mission with the commitment, compassion,

and courage inherent in the title

"SURFMAN".

I will endeavor to reinforce the worldwide

reputation of our forefathers in the

Lifeboat Community.

I will maintain a guardian's eye on my crew

at all times, and keep a cool, yet

deliberate, hand on the throttle.

I will give of myself and my knowledge as

those who gave to me; so as the line

of Coast Guard Surfman will live forever

I will ensure that my supervisors rest easy

with the knowledge that I am at the

helm, no matter what the conditions.

I will never unnecessarily jeopardize myself,

my boat, or my crew; but will do so freely

to rescue those in peril.

I will strive with dedication and determination

to bring credit upon Coast Guard Surfmen

past and future.

All kidding aside when ever I'm out in good or bad weather I'm always comforted knowing if there is a problem you guys will be there no questions asked.

That's it, who's coming to Coast Guard Station Barnegat Light to give me a ride in a boat? I'll be looking for one during the last week in July

I actually just sold my boat to a guy in NY. Now I only get to use the USCG boats

I have a little boat I need to have rigged still and buy a motor for, probably a 50HP

not sure what I'll buy next

Just curious what your opinion is of a searay Sundancer V. what you had? A comparable size Sea Ray seems to be a few more $$$$, Just wondering what you think?

Chaparral is the way to go, In my opinion. I looked at everyboat I boarded and asked the owners. That was besides going to every boat show, then revisiting the showrooms.
