DO NOT GO BETWEEN THE ISLAND AND THE HOOK AT ANY TIDE!!! Fire up google earth and you can see the rock wall (old bulkhead) that runs from the hook out to the island. If you get in there at high tide you're gonna be stuck until the next high tide. If yoiu don't have google earth I'll post the pic when I get to work and have more bandwidth.

There are white markers where the rock wall is. Spermacetti Cove is blocked off by the rock wall. 90% of the people know where it is but the 10% of the retarded ones don't.

The white markers are not where they belong. They are moved about 50 feet north. You can see parts of the wall at dead low.

Local knowlege, like I said 90% of everyone who has gone there knows where the wall is. The deeper water is on the west side of the cove and that's the best place to be anyway. You wussies can stay home!

Two weeks ago I pulled the bow up onto the beach on the west side. Off the back of my boat there was 15 ft of water.

The second one you're referring to is on the outside, it has a large rock pile that is out of the water 90% of the time, there are pilings that go from the rock pile to the beach. I wouldn't recommend anchoring up on that side for two reasons; 1. It's open water. 2. There are a lot of mussle beds and the water is shallow.

If anyone needs help getting in there just send me a PM and I'll show you the way, it's easy.

Sanding the gel off the bottom of the boat isn't going to make it any faster
