Hey is this new OSO member you "pinkpanther"
Garry, thanks for dinner and the hospitatlity! It was a great run, lot's of fun!

I think I left my chew toy at your house, can you bring it down to the boat for me tomorrow AM? Hopefully, you'll join us as the rendezvous point on the river tomorrow.

Yes, it's true we ran together on the OCEAN today. I must admit thought, I never had to cruise that slow.

Then on the way home, even with a bad engine coupler, only running 4700 rpms, we were walking away from the potato chip who was running WOT. He saw a lot of this today!

Mr. V. was so humiliated that he had his army of children gang up on me at his house. They were trying to give me a pink complex. The whole family got mad because dad got beat by a resin bucket!

PinkPanther LOL

Nice to see you 2 getting along I guess that's about as good as it gets! Though I do not see any pics in the OCEAN there ... only River running pics ... again!

Bad coupler Frank Can you get that by sliding engine back or is that a pull job?

Mr. V. Got the 56mph sled on the lift today for the first time and those bunk upgrades/swaps you suggested worked like a charm Thanks! I got to take some pics tomorrow. Will you guys be down at Pt. P tomorrow. I'm working until 8:00am tomorrow morning, but I might run up to the Point (via da OCEAN ) if you guys are going to be down ...

Mr V. ,
Friday did not work out for me.
I launched the boat at 3:30 pushed off the dock and it wouldn't go into gear- forward and reverse didn't work. Luckily I had an extra long pole and was able to reach the dock. I trailered it back to Navesink that evening.
Panther,
Your boat looked real clean (Friday evening), must have just missed you.

Hey CR I can't view PUTFILE at work IT's blocked by the webmasters.

Did you figure out what's wrong with the gears? Shift cable? Will you be down around Pt.Pleasant tomorrow?

Heres the deal. ... Boat was in perfect condition, had some normal service done. Marina says, hey there is a recall on the Bravo X with your serial #'s. Something to do with the fact that you could get stuck in gear. So, I figured I'd let them fix it No $$ on my end so what the heck... I get the boat back, busted my AZZ to get it in the water. My friend gave the boat a good push off the dock about 10ft away, I try to reverse and it's jammed I try forward and it's jammed. I never kept a pole on the boat until this summer because lately I've been boating solo. Luckily I had it or I would have floated into who knows what.
Marina was closed by the time I called them. Went down anyway.. hoping I would find someone there. Found the mechanic and he said I could bring the boat in that night. Went back on RT 36 again got the boat and brought it back to Navesink, then had a few drinks to kill the pain.

I had major withdrawal and was not going to miss another day out on the water, so I went to AC this morning . I'll deal with mine this week.
