Yes, it's true we ran together on the OCEAN today. I must admit thought, I never had to cruise that slow.
Then on the way home, even with a bad engine coupler, only running 4700 rpms, we were walking away from the potato chip who was running WOT. He saw a lot of this today!

[QUOTE=njgr8ful] Bad coupler Frank
Can you get that by sliding engine back or is that a pull job?
[QUOTE]
Yeah, when I blew the drive a few weeks ago apparently I f'ed up the engine coupler too. It's holding together for now but for how long I don't know. I'm going to replace it this week.
It's about a 4 hr job. Drive has to be pulled, then the engine. The engine should'nt be out of the boat for more than 20 minutes, then back in she goes! It's a fairly easy job, just a pain in the A$$.
No pics yesterday, I think Mr. V. left the camera at home on purpose.

I thought you were going to say that you couldn't hear so well because I was out in front of you all day!
Like Ari said,, "Your boat is LOUD, it was pissing me off!"

By the way Mr. V, my father said that you should take the boat to El Salvador. He said you would have the fastest fishing boat, and they give out free potato chips!

Panther,
Your boat looked real clean (Friday evening), must have just missed you.

It could also be the barrell that holds the shift cable inside the plastic linkage. I've seen them pull out, it's a two minute fix. If you're down at the marina today, I can take a quick look for you.
I'll PM you my cell #, should be there in about an hour or so.
