I know that boat .. spoke to him few weeks ago in LBI ... at Morrisons ... we were both fueling ... well he was fueling and I was deciding whether to put in 89 octane plus additive octane boost They don't have no super there. He was telling me he just puts enuf fuel (and boost additive) to get him to the next station with 93 octane. Closest Southbound is AC, he said and Northbound is Forked River or ???? So I went ahead and fueled too. Figure his rig and trips was rolling a lot more $$$$$ than mine

I did it my first time out this season, because I'm on a mission. It's also the first real inlet south from Sandy Hook. I wanted to see how long it would take.

I hit almost every inlet on the NJ coast. (via water, not trailer )I think I have two left. I did Cape May, Wildwood, Ocean City, Atlantic City, Sandy Hook, Pt Pleasant. I think I'm only missing two more. Barnegat and something ..cant remember the name.
My goal before the season ends is to do a run from Lady Liberty to AC stop for lunch and then head back (same day) or sleep over and gamble.

I ran from Ocean City to Philadelphia as well. I also went from Sandy Hook up the Hudson (yes a river) to Havestraw.

Someday, I want to do NY to Florida in a cruiser. Just building up hours and trying to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible.

As far as Pt Pleasant is concerned, and I can only speak for myself. It's a fun run, but I have no idea where to dock and hang out once I get there.

What inlet are you closest to???

I spoke to that guy today in the Black Thunder, and he did mention he came from LBI...

That boat has a real nice cabin, lots of head room. It's a 40 something. He also boats in Florida.
