Looks like we're on for the weekend of the 29th to NE MD. FINALLY I'm getting my boat back on Monday. Still have alot to do, but it's running and floating. Have to zero in on the right set of props. So far a set of 4 blade 34's are getting closer. Still have about 25% throttle to go. Hitting the rev limiters at 6K, 105mph. Will probly re gear the lowers down to 1.36 next season. Gonna try a set of 33 5 blades next. Try to get out on the river before the MD trip.

Yea, YIKES is right. Shame of it is, is that Sat afternoon is the only time I'm gonna be able to drop the boat in to get a test drive before the weekend on the bay. I have a set of 33P 5 blades that I want to try. I haven't even seen it run with the new power and drives yet. I was told it handles looser than before because of the shorties so I want to feel it before the bay. Plus get a feel with the new power. They said the 4 blade 34's where still too small so the 33-5's should be a little better before geting into re-gearing the lowers to 1:36's. Fingers crossed for all to go well.

Had the boat out on Saturday. Everything went well. Have a few issues to deal with but in all, very happy. There's a carb spitting issue, maybe timing? Only on throttle up from idle. And props cavitate for a bit until they hook but after that it's GONE!. I ordered some spacers to drop the lowers down a bit. I think that might help the cav problem? Boat got real loose in the azz around 90. I have some prop changes to try but really looking forward to this weekend at the Chez. WHO's IN? Mark and I will be going down early Friday and staying until Sunday. Hit us up if your coming. More the merrier!
