Alright Typhoon...I've decided that all this hard work and abuse to our mental and physical state is YOUR fault!!

With my eyes half open, I trecked the 2 hours home early this morning and arrived safely at 6am. You suck.....(But thanks for the help on the phone)

On a happy note, the drive is on the motor runs and we are getting so very close.

Dave

Wed. and Thur. High tide in NJ at 12:00 bring that Activator down and lets break it in. That should give us 2 hours each way.

axapowell 03-22-2008 06:24 PM

Looks like Thursday. I'll check with Doug. We should plan to be there before 10am? That would give us 4 hours...right?

Thanks,
Dave

TYPHOON 03-22-2008 07:03 PM

Yeah, I dont start drinking beer before 2:00 do you guys need a place to crash when you come here? I have the motor home or Trophy biatch is local or there are local hotels? What I can tell you is your not staying at my trailer park home. I just got new retreads and lattice for christmas. And I still cant find Enzo the gerbil. He must be freezing with no hair!

Ryan Beckley 03-22-2008 07:53 PM

If you guys still need helmets, these are a good deal...

heater63 03-22-2008 09:09 PM

hey Randy I'm in! thursday it is.Friday also if necessary. You got any empty trailers down there in that park.I may need to move in one by the time I get done with this boat. The old lady is not happy,I had to sell her D'ville to pay for the motor ;-).Now she has to walk to work 4 miles thru 2 ft of snow (barefoot)

TYPHOON 03-22-2008 10:01 PM

Is it uphill bothways???? We must live on the same mountain.

Ron P 03-22-2008 10:54 PM

Thanks Ryan, pretty sure we are all set though.

Can we have white helmets or do they have to be orange?

As for Typhoon's offer...Isn't a trailer park a little too classy for us heater? I was hoping for an open fire pit and a sleeping bag somewhere downtown in a back alley. That's more like it! :cool-smiley-027:

Cool, better than Lake Slime in Secaucus.

Where's the ramp? Randy give me a buzz when you have the details.

BRUCE SEROFF 03-23-2008 10:14 AM

Ron, Im not sure what Randy's plans are. But two ramps are in Edison.

1 is at the Raritan River "Yacht Club", just off rt 1, and the other is the Edison public ramp (Meadow Road), off of Woodbridge ave.

And the third ramp we usually use is in Keyport, off Rt 36. Right on the bay.

Ryan Beckley 03-23-2008 10:57 AM

The helmets must be orange.

TYPHOON 03-23-2008 04:13 PM

You can paint them if you already got them!

Hey Randy...a little post happy today?

Here's a little something from the other night/ morning, about 2:49am to be exact...

For Randy (and everyone else to see)

Dave

SVL4 03-23-2008 09:16 PM

First of all its Lake H. When did you take that picture?
With the proposed two by two starts, everybody will have a chance to run up front. The only question is can you hang on to the lead? Does Helwig do any work? ever?

Nice little video, Doug seems happy! Too bad about Amy's car, least you could do would be to give her your Caddy.

TYPHOON 03-24-2008 08:35 AM

Who are you guys fooling! Even I can see the lawn mower running next to the boat making that noise!!!!
Look at your schedule and let me know if Thur is good for testing or is Fri better? If you come on Fri we can test Fri and Sat. If we can get up Sat morning.

Yeah but who was in that shot when the boat was upside down ya big Crash Test Dummy.

Who's got photoshop and can help Randy out with the little crosses on his head. Or is that his version of a permanent CTD marker?

Here's a photo of the SVL drivers meeting.:evilb:

The big fat one with the shiny head right in the middle where he belongs. :evilb:

Ron P 03-25-2008 02:28 PM

PS - CTD, your boat made it into the OSS Race Program that will be at every race --- You should really be in Biloxi to sign autographs for your adoring fans.

Someone forget and leave that pic out of the "For Sale" packet? Not to worry you can blame it all on Axa, your job is only to point the thing, it's his problem to keep it right side up. Insurance paid up?:D

Good Luck in Biloxi, have fun but be safe. There is that old saying, "In order to finish first, one must first finish."

5PMSMWHR 03-27-2008 04:41 PM

Anyone have the spy report on Adrenalines test session today?

Not a clue, but I'm sure we will hear the results if they were good. I bet it was a nippley day for boating in the big pond, unless Doug had his guys install a little onboard heater.

BRUCE SEROFF 03-27-2008 06:14 PM

Saw the boys back at the shop this afternoon. They are Ironing out a few gremlins, trim pump and drive problems. Hopefully, they will be back in the water tommorrow.

The boat looks great though.

TYPHOON 03-27-2008 06:30 PM

Its in the water!!!!!!! What a great effort these guys are putting in there program. No sleep last night, leave at 6:00 pm drive 5 hours with the whole crew and in the water by 12:00 with Trophy's boat as a chase boat. Like Bruce mentioned we had a couple issues that we will have done by tomorrow morning and back in the water by 12:00. I am so proud of this new team and there ambition to learn as much as possible. More news and pics tomorrow.
