I just bought my wife a shiney new Chrysler Convertable hardtop for Christmas, made in Michigan, USA !!! Wake up America, we are on our own.
Read the fine print!! Assembled in Michigan!

My Mom worked for 30 years for Chrysler, and near the end she worked at 3 different plants because work was moved out of the country.

I agree to the basis of the thread " Buy American". but the unions and politicians have really Fuuucked up the blue collar worker, and the industries associated with them.

I couldn't agree with you more, but at least it's assembled in Michigan, USA. You want to get another laugh? I was just brushing my teeth with Crest toothpaste and on the label it said Made in Mexico!! go figure, where will it end?

That's the one. I bought it 5 years ago and spent a year making it waterworthy. I had to tear out the entire interior, and rebuild it from the stringers up. I still have that bracket somewhere (I think). It sat there for something like 3 years. I offered the guy some coin on the phone, and bought it.

It took 12 hours to drag it to Cleveland (every hub was shot). Anything over 35 mph started a fire.
