I know a few people don't like this idea but It's a good one for the sport.

Class 5 = 73mph (Single) **
Class 4 = 80 mph (Single) **
Class 3 = 90 mph **
Class 2 = 105mph
Class 1 = 115mph

** Proposed new class/speeds

Its pretty embarassing that you guys would even consider running in a 85 MPH class, knowing you can easily do 100 - 105. You guys are a legal class 3 or even 2 boat. Stay where you belong and take care of your own house. Dont come ruin ours, it already has issues.
Ok Bruce how fast does your boat run? Yeah i dont how fast the boat runs i have only been in it at 94.5. I think Bill said it went faster? But i have never driven it past that. I am working on some sponsors now and looks like i might have a good one. Are you going to race all the races next year?

Why change class 5? It works extremely well. I understand changes to 3, and I think brining back 2 is great. That being said, 5 kicks ass, and to my knowledge everybody in 5 is happy with 5. Dont change the class that brings out the most boats.

Why would Class 4 be changed to single engine boats?

Why change any of the classes? It seems to be working, just seems a little broken due to the fact that a class is missing and making a few races/racers at a disadvantage

I have no authority to change a spark plug let alone a class.. just throwing stuff out for other peoples ideas and opinions.

* But my reasoning behind it was to narrow the gap between the smaller / slower class 6 boats and the larger faster 5 boats.

My boat can run 90, maybe 92 balls out.

Its too soon to determine how many races I will attend next year. I guess it all depends on business and sponsorship opportunities.

I dont have the right to speak about what happens out side of class five, but, my two cents are this. Have two class 4s, one for twins with a 39 foot cap. The other for singles. Both 4s would be 80 mph. Bring 2 back as 100, because Bull may be a cat, but its a 32 foot boat...105 is haulin. 3 come back as 90. Itd take a lot to make that apache run 95, and it be haulin. 5,6 and 1 are great. But then again....some rough water would even all this out...

We would move to C3 as apposed to running against cats with 750s or Vs with 950s.

With the 1:50 gears we could run right at the number
