Not to familiar with this size...what all boats fit the bill?? there is a little scarab, the velocity, the little apache... this has me really interested...

Did Scarab make an outboard? A 22 Scarab would be an ok boat but the transom would need to be beefed up for an eggbeater if it isnt a factory one.
21 Superboat, 22 Redline, 21 Challenger/Shadow, 22 Progression, 22 Activator, 23 Krytponite, 22 Apache, 22 Velocity, 22 Sutphen, 21 Tuff, and more.
A lot of these can be had for 5-7k pretty close to race ready.
Im really excited to watch this class come together. One guy is running a 22 Redline and already has a sponsorship for it. Very cool

Im really interested for next year unfortunatly.. currently beginning a "divorce" so funds are tight right now, but as a single guy the season is way within my budget.

Can't wait to see the turn out of this class it would suck to buy one of these boats tho an it not be a big turn out also what about the rough water races sounds like race the summer recover from back n kidney problems all winter maybe?

Seriously they should make a new 4cyl series... and a 6, inline 6, inline 5, twin turbo, turbo, no turbo, injected, carb, rwd, fwd, awd, hell even rotary engines! if you catch my drift haha
