Unfortunately the whistle of the blower will be gone next time this boat sees the water. Fortunately it'll be replaced by a pretty retarted cam lap.

Those holes on the dash will have gauges in em too!
I ran outa cash:lolhit:

MD

Oh yea!!! www.bluewolfinc.com sick underwater led. If you want em I got em less than MSRP.

Sunrocket24 12-22-2012 07:48 PM

The boat looks and sounds awesome!!! I remember when it was Niel's and still in MI. You did a great job! Are those sit down seats you put in it?

scarab63 12-22-2012 08:20 PM

^

Yup she's a sit down now.
Almost 1' of memory foam medium density under my ars!!!
Should take some of the abuse away from my back.

Unlimited jd 12-22-2012 08:50 PM

only one of us was short enough to keep it a stand up boat :angry-smiley-038:

Sunrocket24 12-22-2012 08:53 PM

Can you post some more pics of the new sit down interior you put in? I got a 24/7 and prefer to sit down myself because of the low free board, but the stock seats do hurt the ars. I bet 1' of memory foam would help!

Give me a week or two.

It's actually very basic. Bench seat made from 2x4 with memory foam & vinyl cover.
The seat backs are easily removable & I plan to make a center console for it so if I'm running it solo or two up it'll keep me pinned in from side to side.
Don't forget whatever pix I take won't really apply to what you'd be building since mines only a 3 man layout. I'm assuming your sunny is a standard cockpit ?

MD

Sunrocket24 12-23-2012 03:30 PM

Sounds good on the pics thanks! Yep mine is standard cockpit. The factory sit down seats are ok but I want to build something that will give me more support, hold me in better, and better on the ars, gets scary sometimes in rough water and don't want to get ejected LOL. Your center console idea sounds good.

POWERPLAY J 12-23-2012 03:37 PM

Looking and sounding good!

I still had these

Sunrocket24 12-23-2012 08:52 PM

Thanks for those pics Joe! The built in storage in the back of the seats is a great idea! I want to build a similar set up that goes across the whole cockpit to replace the front seats with a center console like Mike was thinking about. I think it would be a great upgrade and I could put some oh s$#t bars on the back or it for the people in the rear bench seat. I'm envisioning a custom 5 pack sit down. And then it could add some extra storage also.

Use

scarab63 01-01-2013 02:36 PM

I know very little about paints. I believe its a acrylic base / clear. Occ Joe can chime in. He sprayed it.

Thanks for all the interest guys.
I've got some bad ass tractor headers installed with chrome 8" stacks and flappers. Came off a peterbilt tractor!!!!!!! I also stopped by pep boys and got some chrome door moldings to clean up my handy work around the cuts. While I was at it the chrome stick on vents were on sale, so I figured......why not?
It should look real sporty now.

scarab63 03-11-2013 06:01 PM

New motor. Paint it??????

1. Merc blue
2. Neon green
3. Gangsta black

I can't decide.....

Will basically be spraying valve covers, intake, carb, some brackets & accessories.
Block, pan, etc will remain black.

vintage chromoly 03-11-2013 06:45 PM

Gangster black mike. :party-smiley-048:

sparky24 03-11-2013 06:48 PM

snap on green

bwd 03-11-2013 07:08 PM

Black, so you won't worry about, and can't see, the oil leaks and rust stains.

A. I'm poor & its cheap
B. Hides well.
C. Easy to match touch ups.

That's a bad a$$ looking engine! Where did you get that P/S and alternator bracket?

Thanks. I have no idea on the brackets as they came with the engine. You could try calling Dave Stiff at Innovation Marine and see if he knows where to get them.
