I do agree that it'd be nice that a site such as this (the premier offshore site in the world??) should have a page somewhere for shoppers to see what they're getting into. Not personal attacks but a guy that loses $100K for a boat he never gets or that never gets built, nor gets his money back......, that kind of behavior should never be tolerated or swept under the rug.
To allow that same builder to continue to advertise is a bit hypocritical though. I know over on screamandfly the vendors there have to get pretty far out of line before anything is ever done.
I have a friend that had a new boat come apart that was built by one of their vendors. Nothing ever done and he is still there. Tough to police I guess??
I can't stand the personal attacks though.
I have also been screwed in boat deals before, thank God never to that level but enough that it took a while to decide whether i hold a grudge and let it ruin my boating experience or learn from it and move on.
Again, a $100K though......

I'd like to see one of the Pantera flag wavers order a new one since they see no wrong after 20+ years of fraud and legal judgements against the scammers.

Until that happens, I think they subconsciously agree with the majority.

SO- step up to the plate and get your order in. Otherwise all hat and no cattle.

I dont have a dog in this fight at all. I have looked into buying a Pantera in the past and decided to go another brand. I think they make very nice boats. I wish them the best of luck in figuring out this matter and get back to building boats. There are not many builders left in the market to choose from anymore. Especially the in the under 30ft range. But I had a problem with this post.

My post was not directed towards you, it was for Tex, the "Apache's are better than Pantera boy" who would do anything to say his boat is better than mine, and how Apache was so great, but now say's "how can you defend this company" based on some drug dealings several years ago, when the founder of his beloved boat company is in jail for the same thing, and MUCH MUCH MORE!!!!!!!!

I have earned my living in the biggest whore business there is in a city that sometimes makes NJ and NYC look like Disney World.
I haven't succeeded in my industry by being a saint, far from it.

I spend half my time having to deal with con artists and cheats in my work world. Boating and all that goes with it is supposed to be the enjoyable part of our existence
I know a lot of the people on here work their AZZ off to play in this hobby, so when I see people accepting this chit it bugs me.
Same as people stealing other peoples toys.
If my post count is what it is it's because I work 12 hrs a day and I put 200 hrs a year on my boats.

The clan we are discussing here has done this over and over and over again.
The only way that it won't continue is if people are outraged.

Nothing will change if ya just roll over and accept it.

My interest in all this has gone way past the Nunez family.

I find the reaction by others to all this very fascinating.
Frustrating but fascinating.
