AS well as the HUNGRY THIRST to be in the famed "TOP 10" to the TAPANZEE from the George Washington Bridge. Nor have I ever seen anything listed or discussed about 2 separate events. People cannot wait to see these results posted all over the NET. So under the title of Poker Run and or the tem Powerboatboat RALLY is also used interchangeably on the promotional material. Other runs have similar "SPRINTS" which can also be from the start (flag drop) to the FIRST CARD STOP AS WELL. These results are also heavily publisized for other runs.

So why if this is common knowledge(which it is), do so many people seem or act "surprised" that this happens, or state it almost never happens? We all know this stuff, but when it is mentioned, every freaks. It seems like denial to me. Denial is never smart, seems dopey to me

The bottom half is not the rules but an explaination of the standard flags used in sports events.

Just like we have rules of the waterways most notably called "Rules of the Road" which is also referred to often at the drivers meetings....

Now if it is such a concern of the MM and LIOPA, then maybe they should contact PRA directly and suggest they reoword their website....
So with that I use Ron's quote:
I have read the Poker Runs America rules and understand what they are saying. My comment was not directed at PRA. It is a simple question "when did Poker Runs become races?" I don't think they are nor should they ever be.

Hey Mike,
We need the manufacturer support just like manufacturers need our runs to show case there products. Hopefully the only race we have is manufacturers coming out with new and better products that help us safely enjoy are time on the water.
Dan

BTW we should have the finished DVD in the next week.

It seems most of us with common sense understand it...

For some, they just don't get it.....
