Hi Bob, the problem at the Flash is one 15 footer will dock in the middle of a finger and screw up the whole dock.

The food at Portabellos is pretty good too!

From your note it appears the boys at NorTech will have you back together.

I know what you mean with the way some so called boaters tie up there. More blue hairs !! Not much consideration for others. Whatever is quick and easy for them. Seen it.

I've heard of Portabellos but cannot remember going there. I know lots like the casual atmosphere at Tween Waters. Probably good for our crowd. Sometime when we do an upscale run, South Seas is nice as well. Haven't been in to Capt. Al's since hurricane reconstruction but the pic's look great. Also I hear that there is a lot better dockage at Barnacle Phil's since their reconstruction. Cabbage Key could not handle our boats. Also the old dockmaster there would probably commit suicide with our group coming in there. Wonder if he retired after Charlie paid a visit last year. Hope so even tho he and I got along OK.

I do not expect to have PREDATOR ready for this run. Maybe a week late. I will probably hitch a ride but not sure with who at this point. A lot of my CAD friends are not coming down till boat show time. Have an e mail that went out to Larry Jones [ Masquerade] to bring him into the loop.

South Seas is still closed.

The same dockmaster is still at Cabbage key.

Silly question but what if we wait a week say 2/11? That way BSM will be open and Bobthebuilder will have his boat ready......

I appreciate the thought but would not want to see plans changed to accomodate me. If we change dates then I am sure that may not work for some in the current group of 14 + boats and result in dissapointment for others that have made plans. I will have lots of opportunity. Jay has already been talking to me about our next run and that will work fine.
