Steve tell me what you know about Airex.. I was on a 27 and 33 Amarcat fish boat Tuesday and was impressed by the construction. The Airex cutouts held a screw like or better than wood, and when screwed in all the way the head twisted off....floats, no rot, and is 70% lighter...Thanks Jeff

My Old Mentor setup the first Airex plant in the US ,Torin in NJ a long time ago ,then was a Airex distributer but the Swiss and him parted ways, He Built ATC Chemical and the Corecell line of Foam ..Myself since @ 1983 or 1984 I have used the product even overseas I had it flown in from Switzerland There was a Picture of one of my projects in their office as a matter of fact.

Baltek Has acquired and expanded the Airex line from the original PVC foams to 9 different materials last count From the PVC's (my old favorite) through PET and the continuous reinforced PX Foams They have done a remarkable job on them. And we ain't afraid of no Damn water! The stuff has life cycles in centuries.

The big companies are grouping up and we will benefit from this.

Baltek I have a story on them a cool one.

KTRON just made me a set of step pads. I think they came out great. They are clear anodized as well.

Looks awesome, can't wait to see them mounted.
