Your last boat had a deep V hull that carved the corners. The step hull will have a little slide to it. Don't do a major hard turn at high speed with a step hull. It might jump out from under you and you might get thrown from the boat (got your kill switch attached to you, right?) BTW, this the first year having my 280 Silencer. Love the ride and quality (except for the POS hatch actuator). A big difference from the 21 footer I used to have.

yes the ride is very nice -- its funny i kept expecting it to fly -- and it just kept going through the waves like little bumps.
